Annex A4, AI incident kit, version 1.0
A doubt,an incident
What happened has happened. What matters is the hour that follows. This page says who to alert first, within what deadline, and what happens next.
This page carries the incident kit, which completes the common core. Where the common core and a role guide diverge, the more protective provision applies. Read the common core

If you notice it in someone else
Open a conversation, kindly. Do not play it down, do not moralise. Point the person towards the University Health Service, a doctor, the 3114 line, the chaplaincies. You are under no obligation to report distress to the AI Transformation Office or to HR. If discreet institutional follow-up seems useful, contact the University Health Service directly.
No report of psychological distress, whether made by the person or by a third party, can have an adverse academic or professional consequence for the person concerned. Medical confidentiality guarantees that such information does not travel up the management line without explicit consent.
Annex A4, situation 4. Health data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR; medical confidentiality within the meaning of Article L.1110-4 of the French Public Health Code.
What happened?
This guide applies the incident kit, nothing else. It does not qualify misconduct and it decides nothing: it tells you who to write to, and how fast. If your situation fits none of these cases, the last answer sends you to the AI Transformation Office rather than guessing.
Nothing is transmitted, nothing is stored. This is not a reporting form.
Question 1 of 2
What is this about?
Pick the closest situation. If none matches, take the third answer.
The deadlines
24 h
Working hours. Acknowledgement of a report and handling of the incident.
72 h
Notification to the CNIL where Article 33 GDPR requires it.
7 d
Working days. Joint investigation by the DPO, IT and the AI Transformation Office into a suspected leak.
30 d
Corrective measure after a suspected leak.
| Situation | Contact first | Within |
|---|---|---|
| Sensitive data sent to an unapproved tool | Manager or teacher, and aito@iscparis.com | Immediate |
| Suspected data leak | aito@iscparis.com, subject “SUSPECTED LEAK” | Immediate |
| Undeclared AI use, voluntary correction | Teacher or manager | Before the grading board or publication |
| Undeclared AI use, spotted by a teacher | Interview with the student, then the Registrar | Within 15 days |
| Psychological distress or dependence | ISC Paris University Health Service, or 3114 | Immediate in a crisis |
| Disagreement on the N0 to N4 level of an assessment | The teacher first, otherwise the Registrar | Before the work is submitted |
Reporting without risk
Confidentiality
Reports are handled discreetly. The identity of whoever reports is shared only with those strictly necessary to handle it.
No retaliation
No adverse measure, academic or professional, will be taken against a person who reported in good faith.
Support
Whoever reports may be supported by the AI Transformation Office or by HR, on request.
A report that turns out to be partly unfounded stays protected, provided it was made in good faith. Doubt benefits whoever reports.
Protection consistent with French whistleblower status, the Sapin II Act, provisions applicable to the private sector, and with the principles of the charter.
If you are the person reported
To be informed
Unless there is a risk of evidence being destroyed or of the enquiry being obstructed, you are informed of the report concerning you.
Adversarial procedure
You may explain, contest, present evidence, and use the remedies provided.
Assistance
You may be assisted by a staff representative or by an elected student representative.
Human judgement prevails over any AI detector. A detection score is not evidence: the incident kit requires multiple indications and an interview on the substance of the work.
The charter creates no disciplinary regime of its own
No sanction flows from the charter itself. It sets expectations; the following texts set the procedures and the scale of any measure.
- Students
- ISC Paris academic regulations: adversarial procedure, disciplinary board, appeal.
- Staff
- The French Labour Code and the ISC Paris internal rules, which alone set the scale of sanctions.
- Faculty
- ISC Paris statutes and specific procedures. The charter creates no new contractual obligation that has not been negotiated.
Support comes before sanction. Dialogue stays the priority. An isolated lapse, declared and corrected, is always treated more favourably than one hidden and persistent.
One contact only
Whatever the situation, psychological distress aside, everything goes to a single address. You do not have to find the right department: the AI Transformation Office routes it.
aito@iscparis.comIncidents handled within 24 working hours.

A reporting form is planned on the intranet, named or anonymous, with acknowledgement within 24 working hours and a tracking reference. Its address will be published when the page goes live. Until then, the email is the report.
One exception: psychological distress goes neither to this address nor to that form. The resources are at the top of this page.
